At the present time the best way to access our webpage is to put the following: “eaglecreekwatershed.ca” into the URL bar at the top of your search engine. This should take you immediately to our site. The site will appear similar to the screen shot shown below. If you use a standard Google, Yahoo, Bing or other search engine query, eagle creek will appear quite low in search rankings because our website is new. As our site starts to get hits this will improve.

The survey was done of the Eagle Creek in the summer of 2014

In the summer of 2014, a survey was done of the Eagle Creek to collect information on the health of the creek. “Cargill Cares”, through Prairie Malt Limited in Biggar, supplied a generous grant in the Focus Area of the Environment to help collect this information.

The Farm and Ranch Water Infrastructure Program and the Farm Stewardship Program — Who Is Eligible?

Applicants who own or control a minimum of 320 acres and earn a minimum of $35,000 of gross farm income in Saskatchewan in the year of application. Applications under the Farm and Ranch Water Infrastructure Program must have an agricultural use (crop spraying, livestock watering or greenhouse production) for the water. Water resources developed solely for household use or for washing machinery DO NOT qualify.

Northern & Southern Eagle Creek AEGP Watershed Groups are happy to announce that they have amalgamated to create Eagle Creek Watershed Group Inc. We have signed a five year contract with the Ministry of Agri- culture under Growing Forward Two which implements changes to the Agri-Environmental Group Plans (AEGP), Environmental Farm Plans (EFP), and the Beneficial Management Practise (BMP) list.
